Site Bugs Report
(Previously reported on Matrix, then I was informed by the moderator to report here as admins aren't there any more.)
———-
1. Flagging function is broken

The "Flagged" button returns to the unclicked "Flag" state after reloading the page, and the post I'm trying to plag doesn't get update for the past few days while new posts are continuing being added to the user's page. (Parteon)

The web request returns 200 though, back end issue?
———-
2. Archive file browsing is broken for some files

Example of a broken link:
https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/152746826/post/132177328
(browsing result in 404 error but the file exists and can be downloaded)

Example of a working link:
https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/152746826/post/132007599
(an earlier post of the same Patreon user)

I can't find any pattern of which archive files work and which doesn't.
Some latest posts (from other users) have this feature working correctly.
———-
3. "Creator not found." error dispite posts showing up on the "Posts" page

Example of missing user:
https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/124264108/post/135549917

One of their posts can be find by searching:
https://kemono.cr/posts?q=Konosuba+%22The+Celebration%22
———-
4. Not all posts are listed on the user's page

Example of user missing posts: (Excessive Cum Warning)
https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/139528658

Example of a post not listed:
https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/139528658/post/136019649

You can find said posts not listed by searching "Agua" on the user's page.

Even using search won't reveal all the posts of the user. I can get more posts by manually appending the offset parameter to the URL like this:
https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/139528658?o=150
Note there is a post titled "Agua sama" which does not show up when you search for "Agua" (but will show up if you search for the full title "Agua sama")

However, this workaround can't reveal the missing posts on the first page, as offsets must be multiples of 50, and o=0 gives an incomplete page.

Bumping your thread since it's one of the useful ones in there. Might want to condense it a bit and post it in issues >>59008 if SA (the administrator) ever reads this hellhole of a board.

Unfortunately, a verbose report like this is what the most useful for dev to look to instead of "creator.txt not updating, fix your shitty site" or something like that.

Anyway, I tried to reproduce what OP reported to, because sometimes it's either client issue (only happened to OP, not anyone else, and the fix sometimes reconfiguring one's browser than trying to fix something that's not broken) or indeed site-wide issue.

1. This has been reported so many times, I don't even need to test it.
2. Same as first point.
3. New, also I can confirm it does happening to me too.
4. No error as you described, it does correctly show the said post you're reporting about, proof with archive.is snapshot (if it's truly only me who doesn't get the same error as yours): https://archive.is/AZC5B

Maybe this thread is useful to resurface my report regarding searching a single non-ASCII character would give the end user an unexpected result.

Query: 蛍
https://kemono.cr/posts?q=%E8%9B%8D

Expected result: Show any posts related to query "蛍"
Actual result: Random

This is a big deal since almost all CJK artists use a single non-ASCII character as their post title.

Examples in the wild:

- https://kemono.cr/fanbox/user/69374642/post/6726431 (even the artist name is a single non-ASCII character)

One way to force SA to understand this would be to point this out. This is also more common than one would think with Japanese creators for similar reasons (or just about every Asian language that works this way).

You're right, I forgot to also mention that a single kanji post isn't a deliberate aesthetic choice. IT IS JUST HOW THEIR LANGUAGE WORKS.

For example, "死, 山, 中, 猫" for each respectively means "Death, Mountain, Middle, Cat".

An expression for "lol" is either "w" or "草". Even Korean does the same with "ㅋ".

And so on.
