Enjoy. Old logins and passwords should work now. API/DB should be more stable now.
For failing imports, enable debugging and provide any part the import ID.

First!
- post search is kinda broken
- bring back fanbox added dates (at least to the api)
- add post tiers to the ui or api
- add post ordering feature by: added, published, edited, indexed, name, tier
- updating/flagging pinned posts is broken again?
- add indicator when creator was ONLY imported with free posts, this is getting out of hand
- increase ratelimit for post searching (
https://kemono.cr/posts?q=something), searching for posts it's painful, switching pages will produce 429 nearly constantly
- about dms; kemono users are useless when it comes to reviewing direct messages, maybe it would be good idea to actually auto approve any dm 48h after import if user did not took any action; arguing about traceability is pointless. entire kemono is walking traceability issue, you can trace users easily with available information also users should know that leaking paywalled content can have it's consequences
- random 404's
- revisions (frontend) are broken
- single character search (kanji/kana), exclusions would be nice too
Infinite redirect loops alongside failure of fetching fanbox files:
https://kemono.cr/fanbox/user/73231351/post/9784441"Download Files" Redirects to fanbox file which if not fetched by kemono as it should
"this post" Will push you into "redirect loop" you cannot go back, also sometimes fails to redirect to kemono and redirects to fanbox
- comment edit popup has been fucked since 2021;
https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/97243957/post/93209127#126576453- paywall autolink change to kemono is broken;

>>58903>>58904Well, I checked your stuff and there is really nothing new to be imported at the time of your import.
If you mean the 6th artist you added, it was 7 min after you started the imoport. The rest is up to date.
>>58891Works now?
>>58889Keep your fetishes to yourself.
>>58805Added, sure. Edit, if available.
>>58797With the changed flagging, it should be rather cheap to call on that data. So we'll look into it.
>>58768>>58773Eh, we have that data tracked in a separate table. Hidden field that is used for search might be confusing.
Which of the ids is the one to be shown on the artist cards? Newest id? Oldest id? Drop down? What is the default?
And majority of people scraping do not even use the right archive/filename format.
The second artist username changes I will see a heavy spike in traffic.
Some people scraping revisions do not even comprehend that they are downloading one and the same file multiple times.
>>58759>stop reddit typingOnly if you livestream kys
>>58920That one suffers from the same bug post revisions suffered, but I fear there is no recovery for the dates on these ones.

>add post ordering featureNot on the posts endpoint.

> Anon: single character search> SA: Really?I wanna answer why THIS IS NECESSARY since the OP didn't explain it correctly.
For English speaking countries or mindset, having to search a single character (e.g. "a", "b", "c", etc.) is stupid, but it's not for CJK speaking countries or mindset.
For example, when you're looking for "Lumine", a character from Genshin Impact, you would just typed "Lumine" on the search function, but when you're trying to find "Lumine" by its CJK localised name which is "蛍 (hotaru)", it's impossible to do that in this current state.
If you're asking to yourself, "Why do I need to have search '蛍' when I can just search 'Lumine'?" it's because most artists from CJK speaking countries often use CJK localised name for any characters they're working on.
Type (or copy mine) this: 蛍
https://kemono.cr/posts?q=%E8%9B%8D (if you can't either copy or type)
Does it display Lumine (Firefly from HSR also have this name), or random shits?

Drop down? What is the default?I'll try and go into more detail. As I said b4, I dont need this. I use a script to convert patreon links to kemono urls. I rarely, if ever, use search, BUT it could be a good QoL improvement.
Public_id would have to be added to the creators api table and if that's not worth doing I totally understand.
I only really use kemono for patreon creators, and what the public_id appears to be for patreon is part of the patreon url for creators. For example:
"patreon.com/c/{public_id}"
Its not the user id though and its actually often the name that a creator goes by on patreon, and what people would naturally search for if using search. "public_id" is often the same as the "name" which is what's used in search currently, but not always. I don't know if public_id is relevant for non-patreon creators at all. It might even be null for most services. I didn't check.
>>58773I believe this reply confused "public_id" with "id". Public_id is a secondary name, and is usually not a number, with some exceptions.

You know how the "artists" page has an option where you can select artists from a certain site (e.g. Patreon, Fanbox, SubscribeStar, etc.), right? Well, why can't there also be one on the "recent artist" page? That way people can check out what the most recent Discord artists are without scavenging through everything, or be able to see who and when a SubscribeStar artist was last updated (or attempted anyway).
It'd really help! It is possible, isn't it?

Though I wouldn't use the "R" word. After all, no one is asking for an artist to be added. Rather it's to link two accounts that have erroneously been overlooked. Heck, some people don't even know said artist (etc.) has another account, and here's an example of that:
"Levon's Place" Patreon page (106 favs on Kemono):
https://kemono.cr/patreon/user/135974228The "Mechanical Humiliation Club" Discord run by the same artist (only 9 faves on Kemono):
https://kemono.cr/discord/server/572314386337628180/This artist's Discord content is consistent on what you'd find on his Patreon, yet most people aren't even aware it's Levon (including at least 97 of the Kemono account owners who faved the Patreon page).
Scrapping any and all suggestions to link erroneously unlinked accounts would have devastating consequences, it would effectively be one giant leap backwards.

We're doing this to help people find other platforms with the same artist more easily, faggots and leechers abuse it, but if it's too much work for moderation or the admin then they can do like us and find them themselves. You can even read it in the comments and DMs. People are literally unsubbing after creators pull that shit and they don't want to touch Discord with a ten foot pole lmao, and Discord is LAUGHING hard at the extra income from, you know, that one new feature and the paypigs who would risk anything for their idols anyway.
If you're that kind of creator and miss the point, I think you should just reconsider your life choices - permanently.

>>59465actually there was a small issue, the new gallery-dl saves stuff in the archive as "kemonofanbox" instead of "kemonopartyfanbox" so my entire archive was null and void for a bit
had to get an sql editor and run a few commands to edit all instances of the latter into the former. good practice i guess (just kidding i hate sql and forgot all about it already)
but yeah everything works fine again

Provided an example in the previous thread (patreon/user/97243957/post/104861878/comments), all dates are the exact same in revs and post still updates on a proper reimport but without doing anything at all. Any idea what could cause this?
I'll just leak the links over pastebin for the time being lol.

How fucking hard can it be to configure anti-DDOS measures without indiscriminately locking out whole countries by ranges.

>>59509Spam the userscript link here, dont give a fuck to the jannies
if somehow it'd deleted for "security reason", malicious userscript can be identified immediately (obfuscated, calling api from another backend to name few), heck even if one isn't that knowledgeable in userscipt enough, in this AI-age one can just ask them if it's malicious or not

https://status.kemono.partyWorks here. They can take time to load depending on how many you have and the congestion (yeah, blame all the people beating their meat all day or watching shit here while giving zero shits about people trying to ACTUALLY import shit for them to even do this to in the first place)
You can also just not favorite anyone and use browser bookmarks. It's only useful for one thing and you can still find that crucial information elsewhere. You technically don't even need an account at all except for, again, exactly one thing.

>>59519So your grand plan is to recklessly spam a userscript link and thumb your nose at the moderators—because apparently, basic community standards and cybersecurity protocols are just inconvenient speed bumps on your ego trip?
Let’s unpack the absurdity here. First, dismissing moderators as irrelevant (“don’t give a fuck to the jannies”) is not edgy—it’s juvenile. These people keep the platform functional and safe, and your contempt for them says more about your lack of discipline than their supposed tyranny.
Second, your claim that malicious scripts can be “identified immediately” is laughably naïve. Obfuscation and backend API calls are exactly how malicious actors hide their intent. The idea that anyone can just “ask AI” to vet a script is a dangerous oversimplification. AI can assist, sure—but it’s not a silver bullet, and it certainly doesn’t absolve you of responsibility.
You’re advocating for a culture of impulsive, unvetted sharing in a space where trust and security are paramount. That’s not bold—it’s reckless. If you want to contribute, do it with transparency, respect, and a shred of technical maturity. Otherwise, you’re just noise.

This isn't fucking reddit, this is about (yet another) simp site for sharing paid ewhore and furry porn.
Not to mention that this is a chak adjacent site. If you think posting a user script is a big no no because muh cyberscruriy!!1, and that people can't decide for themselves if they wanna use it or not, then please kindly go suck on a dick you enormous faggot.
The only noise is your post. The other two were at least focused on their issue.

Jannies nuked everything because they were shitscared and if instead of being such a faggot you'd have said "who can blame them when randos are spamming random links all day?" that would have been a lot more reasonable.
Now go back to r/iamverysmart and fuck off. Or go back to your shitty SubscribeStar thread if you're the OP, either way you'll fit right in.

Because I know there have been some artists that I've requested links for several times off and on over the past months that still haven't been linked despite obviously being the different profiles of the same person.

But if you pay attention you'll notice there are plenty of linked profiles with profiles that are obviously not at all the same thing, different name, different id, and completely different content.

>>59746That's not a stupid question and it's legitimate, don't worry. There used to be a message back when the fanbox importer was in its testing phase about this.
The thing is we could get banned at any moment for importing on any platform, so this is why admin and the dev does its best so scrapers don't get detected.
No guts, no glory. Stand proud of what we've done so far and the people who thank us and whom we thank back when they do their part, including creators themselves who realize that Kemono is an archive project more than it is piracy.

Add this to your custom rules if using uBlock or similar:
@@||kemono.su/api^$xhr,method=patch|post
Explanation: Allow XML HTTP Requests that use PATCH or POST regardless of whether filters exist to block this, ONLY for the API. You can also further restrict it to just /api/v1/authentication/login instead.
You can also disable EasyList if that's too complicated but you're opening up holes for ads and tracking.
