Anyone else getting "Failed to load artists." on both Kemono and Coomer?

 No.58693

Ublock origin dashboard -> Filter lists -> Privacy -> EasyPrivacy -> Uncheck box

 No.58706

>>58693
This works, but at the cost of losing EasyPrivacy. If you want to keep it, you can just whitelist the element that EasyPrivacy is blocking. Add the following line to your custom filter:

@@||kemono.cr/api/v1/creators

>>58706
I second this - keep the EasyPrivacy filter and just force-allow (@@||) the API for just creators.

Am probably being stupid, do you put it elsewhere instead of My Filters? It's not doing anything

unless it's because am on chrome and they started cracking down on these sites or something

On the "My Filters" tab, did you check the box that says "Enable my custom filters"? It would be an easy thing to overlook.

No, you're doing it right, just make sure you have them enabled as >>58740 said. You can also open the uBlock console to see what it's letting through from your rules. (Blocked in red, allowed in green, trap catchers in yellow; iirc click/hover on a line to see which rules is/are responsible)

thanks for this, worked instantly.

worked. thanks man.

Thanks for this.
Unrelated, but seeing as I'm here I'll ask, I never mess with ublock settings at all. Is the default mylist supposed to over 9000 entries?
Seems like a lot to whitelist.

If you ever manually block elements on a webpage, those elements will get added to the list.

I assume this pro tip also works for Coomer?

 No.58770

The default My Filters tab should be blank, I can't recall from memory, but - ask Raymond Hill aka gorhill to be sure on github - it should support that much, yes. Again as Anon said, whenever you block something with the inspect tool, it will be added with a comment on top (a "rule" with an exclamation mark to denote the rule as ignored and the timestamp among other things). That could easily add up to 9000 lines over time.

The whitelist area is reserved for full-scale whitelists, just let the defaults in this unless you have a strong reason to whitelist an entire domain. It's defaulted to browser schemes. Hope this helps!

(Sorry, slowtyping and only noticed this)
Yeah, works for both domains.

Yeah i did enable, but for some reason wasn't working. Though now it seems they removed the blocks in my sleep since i see both this and coomer artist sections no longer being blocked and i haven't added the latter to my list yet.

>>58706
This is no longer working

 No.58897

Looks like the filter lists have been fixed. Try updating your filter lists in uBlock Origin, and you might not need this fix anymore.
